Controlling your inventory cost has never been easier, from receipt to sale. The Point of Sale system tracks each item in detail, recording each purchase and sale and always recalculating the value of your inventory on a moving average. The system also costs your inventory on a standard and most recent cost basis.

Receiving of inventory is done on a single page, reducing errors (all the required information is clearly visible) and staff time. Multiple items can be received on one receipt with the ability to distribute 3 additional costs (Misc., Freight and S&H) to the item cost (distribute the cost) or to a general ledger account. You enter the item number, quantity received and the unit cost and the system automatically calculates the extended cost. Upon posting the receipt, the system automatically recalculates the inventory costing and on hand quantities in real time. Item bar codes can be printed based on the quantity received using a standard laser printer or bar code label printer.

Physical inventory worksheets assist the staff in counting and entering physical inventory amounts in the system. The system highlights all discrepancies in red giving the staff the ability to recount those items prior to posting. Larger pro shops can utilize hand held devices to count inventory and then upload the counts to the physical inventory worksheets.

Each location maintains a separate inventory and related costing, ensuring proper valuation reporting. Inventory can be received at one or all locations. Inventory transfers are tracked by source, in transit and received. The system automatically costs the transferred inventory. Shrinkage is reported based on the source and received quantities, making sure nothing falls off the back of the golf cart.

Each inventory item has multiple pricing schedules; in season, out of season, member pricing and a sale price based on a date range. Items can be set so the staff can not discount the item. Items can be placed on sale by category, sub-category or item range by a date range.
